The club is an indoor range of twenty metres with three firing points. Bench rest is the most popular with prone firing as an option.
There is a heated club room with facilities for making hot drinks and warming food. The club has a toilet and there is no problem with parking. There is disabled access for wheelchair users

The Area Target Club is a small bore rifle club firing .22 rim fire only. Most members choose to shoot rifles, but long barrelled pistols in .22 calibre are becoming increasingly popular. Several members use air guns.
Full members enjoy access to the range seven days a week, fifty two weeks a year, but for consideration of our neighbours are asked not to shoot before 11 am on a Sunday nor after 9 pm on any day.
